Blanco Cocina + Cantina

This restaurant did not disappoint. The staff was very attentive. I got the spicy mango margarita. It was very tasty. We got chicken tortilla soup and let me tell you it was one of the best I have ever had. My son got steak fajitas and he said the meat was very tender. Getting to sit outside in January (we are from the north) and enjoy good food and good view is just the icing on the cake.

This is a really nice place serving good food and drinks at reasonable prices for the location and ambiance. The margaritas are good! The flavors from the burritos, tacos, queso, etc were all really solid. I like the look and feel of the bar area, too. Add the short rib machaca to the nachos con queso. The pork chile verde burrito and tacos are both good. The Novus location is cool. You'll find several great options here. The parking can fool you but it's easy to valet for relatively cheap and they also validate your parking ticket for the Novus garage which is pretty close.

The food, the summer deal menu where two can dine for a great price and the drinks were delicious. I left there feeling amazing !! Definitely recommend for a date night or girls day. Lunch or happy hour.

First time here, and the restaurant was over half empty, and I was told there was a 20-25 minutes wait due to all the reservations. After asking a few more questions hostess realized many tables weren't reserved, and seated us. Guacamole was delicious, gluten free chips are available upon request. Had the short rib enchiladas which were good also. Flan for dessert was really good with the tastiest whip cream on top, and actually better than I thought would be. Will return since they make some extra precautions to gluten free meals, but will make a reservation to avoid any confusion. Parking a little difficult in this area.

Had a group event for 20 and reserved the private room. It was set up when I arrived. Music was playing but we could still speak to each other easily. Margaritas were just okay. Guacamole was fantastic, other food was standard. Service was great.
