Customer Reviews
How sad! The once estimable BB is now 3/5th it's original size at three and a half times the price. Still tasty but an extraordinarily poor value particularly given the exceptional options available within just a mile radius. Still nostalgic for the old Blimpie stalwarts such as the ones on 55th & 8th Ave or 14th and 1st Ave. Those were the days.
I have not been to a Blimpie in almost 15 years and was excited to go. The service was good but let me tell you the sandwich was pitiful. I remember going there because they gave you a lot more meat then other places but now it is the reverse. I was watching them make my $9 half sandwich and almost walked out because when it was finished it looked like bread and mayo and I had to slam my head on the table to be able to see any kind of cold cut on the sandwich. the reason I did not just leave was because I really wanted to try Blimpie one more time and this will most likely be my last. I hope the owner or someone sees this and makes some changes, I always wondered why they were beaten by Subway when they slice there cold cuts fresh for every sandwich, this is the time period where it would
Blimpie is like biting into the 90s—a time capsule of deli perfection. It’s not some soulless chain; it feels local, like the sandwich shop from your childhood where they knew how to make it with love. The subs are fresh, the prices are refreshingly old-school, and the vibe? Pure nostalgia. Stepping inside, you half-expect to hear a payphone ring. Visit this gem while it’s still around—because places like this don’t stick around forever. Sandwiches are PERFEFTION
Blimpie will always be the best sandwich place to me, because of all the memories I had as a kid.
I’ve been here a few times and I’m not writing this review because of a bad experience, I’m leaving this review in hopes that people see this and the people behind the scenes of the store can as well. I enjoyed my food and customer service experience. It looks family owned and gives me nostalgic 90’s Blimpies Locations. It’s a bit mishandled with its cleanliness and repairs of the machine but these stores aren’t as popular or in demand as it used to be. I’ve seen a few Blimpies go but I truly hope this place stays open. I always feel welcomed coming here and can’t wait to come back again.
