Food is top notch! Pizza menu changes but I always find something i wanna try! Love that! Beer list is one of the best in San Diego! They feature different breweries constantly. They also have live music. Highly recommend this place!
Cool pizza restaurant with many beers on tap. Very fresh, hand made pizza, not NY style, but very good. Crust was thin and crunchy, a little small for about $20, but worth a try. Lot of beers on tap. I recommend giving it a try as it is fresh and not commercialized pizza!
BLAH has quickly become a staple date night for me and my partner. Good food, fun brews, and casual vibe make it a perfect spot for us. Don’t miss their pizza and mussels!!
I love that they offer vegan options! The pepperoni pizza is amazing and a really decent size. The crust is solid, pepperoni amount is generous, and it actually feels filling, not like an afterthought. They also have an awesome beer selection, and I really appreciate that they carry sour beers—those are pretty amazing too and not always easy to find. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and there always seems to be something going on with all the weekly events. It’s the kind of place where you can come with a group of friends, but it’s just as nice to hang out solo, grab a drink, and relax for a bit. Overall, it’s an easy go-to spot that never disappoints.
Order & pay at the bar, take a number and seat yourself. Table sharing is the way to go in this popular crowded bar. I had the mussels and French fries. The broth that the mussels were cooked in was excellent (white wine + garlic?), but unfortunately the mussels in the shell were tiny. The French fries are not the traditional shoestring fries, but are nonetheless great, steak potato fries. Certainly plenty to share! My friends had the very popular thin crust pizza. It appears housemade with fresh ingredients. Look at that fresh green basil! Beer is mostly from Russian River, CA. I had a great lager beer. My friend has a coffee flavored stout that she said was terrific.
