Blue Agave Tacos and Beer

What a surprise! Will be back again and again. The food is excellent and while it’s not table service, the service is helpful and fairly quick. Did I mention the food is delicious? I love their margaritas here. It’s not tequila. It’s a wine tequila. Must try. I love that they have booths at this place. We met the owner. Hands-on, very interested in his customers’ comfort and experience. This is a place Agoura/Oak Park/Westlake didn’t even know we needed.

Incredible food, I had a carne asada super burrito and it might be the best carne asada I have ever had. I am only in the area for a few days and am definitely considering going back multiple times.

Food was alright. Not the worst. I've had better in the hood for cheaper. (Sorry but its true) total was 80 bucks!. Cashier gave alot of wrong info. Asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and ended up getting the opposite. Told us sopes come with rice and beans and they did not. However he ended us giving us some afterwards. Didnt take my preference on type of meat for the sopes, but he got our info after we sat down. (Maybe the guy was new?) Carne asada ended up being really dry and tough tho. Asada fries were extremely bland. I wouldn’t take my entire latino family here. It's more of a "quick order" spot when u need to just eat something. For Agoura, this place must be fabulous, for Los Angeles as a whole its definetly a 3 out of 5.

I stumbled upon Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant by accident and decided to place a last-minute order. To my surprise, they fulfilled it without any issues, which was already a great first impression. I returned another day to dine in, and I have to say, I was shocked—Agoura Hills isn’t exactly known for having the best Mexican food, but Blue Agave, a new restaurant in town, is a total hidden gem! The food is super authentic! But what really stood out was the hospitality—both times I visited, the owner was there, genuinely engaged, and making sure customers felt like they were right at home. You don’t see that kind of dedication often, and it made the experience even better. Incredibly happy to have a great Mexican restaurant locally again! The food was delicious. We had a chilli relleno, and a chicken enchilada combo. The chicken. It was so so so good. Everything was, including my horchata. Very nice salsa bar, with hot self serve chips. The labels on the salsa - genuinely funny. I was cracking up at the names, giving you an idea of how spicy everything was. The place is small, very very clean, and I'm sure they will need more space. Or, we will all be waiting in line for dine in. Check it out 💯
