My first time and I will definitely come back. Ordered the fried chicken leg dinner combo ($8 and change) and it was a full, delicious platter. It was packed nicely and the fried chicken stayed crispy for my 10 min drive home. Plenty of food that I have left overs. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly and courteous. Currently, they’re setup for take out only because of covid. I recommend that you give them a try! Support our local businesses!

i got the fried chicken platter with collard greens and mac and i only paid 13 bucks y’all! back in jersey this whole plate would cost me around 17-25 bucks. very generous portions(which meant leftovers yay!) and very good food. i know i would’ve loved it a lot more if it was piping hot but i live 30 minutes away so this was lukewarm at best by the time i got home. however what took me by surprise was how CRISPY that chicken still was!!! the mac and cheese was perfectly seasoned and the greens were pretty damn decent. i would definitely be a regular here if i lived closer😭

Love this place haven’t been here since about 2017 and it’s better than I remember… portions are hearty and well priced I got grilled salmon dinner with 2 sides excellent very flavorful

ordered ox-tail, rice, collard greens and potato salad. No seasoning on the collard greens, gravy from scratch had too much flour and the white rice was suited for beef and broccoli. All of it in the garbage. Only ate a spoonful but my stomach and head hurts. Stop serving old food!
