Blue Cow Grille

No reservations - First come, first serve. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were very good. There were three people in our group and all three were very happy with their meals. The meals were The Rodeo Burger, The Reuben, and The Fried Green Pimento Burger. This is a busy little restaurant, so please be prepared to wait if you get there during a busy time. The food is worth any wait you may have to endure. Our server was Serenity and she was very personable and patient as this was our first visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in with my wife on a field trip to South Port. 1st time there. They were busy but did a great job of greeting everyone and managing the tables. Laura was our helper. She was awesome and took excellent care of us. Food was very good. Pricing was fair. Food was prepared quickly. I had shrimp and corn soup. It was great. Chili cheese fries were very good. Definitely will be returning again. Great location in downtown.

We have visited Blue Cow many times and the main thing that brought us back was the fresh squeezed lemonade! The lemonade is still great, however it used to be sold with one refill only. On our visit last Friday it is now per glass, no refill. For $4.75 per glass, it is still good, but we will probably pass next time. Actually, we will probably pass in general and try another place when in the mood for a burger. Both of our burgers were just ok and in the past visits they were outstanding, maybe it was just an off day, but it was kind of expensive for mediocre burgers and the lemonade no longer coming with at least one refill. Good Lord I’ve never had a burger so good! Put bacon, cheese and a fried egg on a burger (hilariously named the Dwight Yolk-um) and oh man…drool worthy. And they asked and happily accommodated a few additions! Funky little atmosphere celebrating hero action figures and matchbox cars along with great music, we were in heaven. Top it off with intensely incredible service from our wait staff, Serenity, and the charmer manning the grill, and we can’t wait to get back!

DELICIOUS!! Worth the wait!! Small restaurant they have only 7 tables and the sweetest hardest working ladies there. Faye was our waitress and she was amazing and although it was busy she kept checking up on our table. My husband got the blue cow burger and it was seasoned delicious and so juicy. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with homemade chips that were crispy and perfect with their home made ranch. The fried green tomatoes are a must crispy and so tender. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I wish I lived closer and had more room in my stomach to eat more. Can’t wait to go back soon.
