Blue Cow Ice Cream Co. is such a gem! The location is perfect—with a stunning view of the river and even a little walking path nearby, it’s a great place to stop and relax. The parking lot is small, but it’s manageable and worth the effort. Inside, the shop has such a charming and welcoming vibe. The staff were honestly some of the nicest people I’ve encountered at any ice cream shop they were patient, friendly, and super helpful. One thing I really appreciated was the generous tasting sizes. It helped us make the right choices without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and made the whole experience even better. They have dairy free flavors and they're ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. Plus if you order DF they ask if you would like them to use a new scoop, which is very considerate. They call out gluten free flavors on the menu. My husband loves their normal ice cream too. Nice that they offer pints to go as well. All around a great local spot!

Stopped by for a treat before going backpacking and the cookies and cream flavor ice cream was super creamy and by far the best I have ever tried. The cones are made in house and it was super good. It would be dangerous if there was a blue cow close to where I live...

My wife and I love everything about this place. The ambiance was fantastic from the decorations to the music and the friendliness of the staff. As good as all of that was the ice cream was somehow better. I tried 4 different flavors and liked them all. The first time I went I couldn’t pick between two of them so I got both! There is seating indoor and outdoor, though I didn’t go outside because the weather was chilly. There was an issue with one of the restrooms and when we brought it up the staff immediately addressed the issue. If I could give more stars than 5 I would. We went twice on our anniversary trip and both times were great. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by Blue Cow Ice Cream in the evening with our kids to pass some time before bedtime and an early flight. The staff was super friendly and kind, which made the experience even better for our family. The service was excellent, the ice cream was delicious, and it was the perfect way to wind down after a busy day. We’re really glad we stopped in and would definitely visit again.
