Blue Sky Family Restaurant

Was the food good? Sure. It’s a breakfast joint. They do standard breakfast food and they do it pretty well. I had the Carolina omelet and my wife had French toast. No complaints. It isn’t amazing…but it’s good. Now, it’s fairly early in the morning…we wanted to have a nice relaxing breakfast before driving to the next leg of our vacation. However, we sit down and there is some type of bird squawking incessantly from the balcony. Not exactly what I want to hear while I’m trying to have a nice breakfast with my wife. Just be aware. Service…our server was fine. Good. Nothing special or amazing, but good. All in all, it was a good breakfast. Will we go back? Maybe. There are a ton of breakfast places in the area so we might keep trying different ones. We will be back next year and see what h

Great place to have a meal. Staff is very friendly. We had the potatoe soup and the Salisbury steak gravy sandwich. Both were very good. This will become our go to place for a good home cooked meal at a good price.

Breakfast fare of omelets and Benedict . Very clean tables and menus. Large restaurant with a country feel of floral wallpaper , seasonal fall decor and a fresh flower on the table. Waitress was quick, pleasant and friendly. Food was good and filling. A coffee carafe was left on the table for refills. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

7/15/25: We enjoyed super service from ⭐️Brooke⭐️. Beautiful, spacious interior with comfortable aqua blue padded booths. Mark’s Blue Sky Special: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, and three crispy bacon strips; was $13.95. Laura loved her stuffed French toast ($10.95) with a side of 5 bacon strips ($6.95). Our first time because we live about 30 minutes away, and the restaurant closes at 2PM daily. Stopped here,unplanned, with my aunt. We were visiting from Ohio. We were delighted with the friendly service, a great selection on the menu and delicious food was received promptly.
