Boathouse Oyster Bar

The oysters are amazing. Fresh or chargrilled. We arrived early we had to wait on soups. Chicken tortilla soup was the best. The place is spread out so you might order at bar and they deliver food to you but great views and awesome oysters. Live music which was very nice.

We were IMMEDIATELY welcomed by Heather and she was our girl!! She welcomed a straight forward beer order and my request for a random gin drink (it's my new favorite). Her service, and Brittany's, were amazing and we're excited to come back next time we're in town. Don't skip on the boiled peanuts OR the special oyster of the day. Staff is incredible/ personable and the atmosphere is perfect for ending a beach day. (Pictured is the aftermath and a drink she recommended/ we ended up loving too)

This place is an amazing low key hangout/ bar restaurant/ dock/ convenience store all in one. It was my first time there. I’ll definitely be back. Shannon the bartender!!!! Gorgeous inside and out. Made me feel like we had been friends for years. I got the seafood gumbo!!!! It was everything! Just spicey enough that you know the New Orleans flare was there, but not crazy hot that your taste buds dye of hot spice pain. The atmosphere is whatever you want. There is inside, outdoor, full Sun, shade. I stayed just watching the boats go by, enjoying all the water activity until my white skin said enough. 😊

It was a great experience. The quality of raw oyster was exceptional. We love the vibe and everything. Just the waiting time is a bit long so if you bring your kids, it will be challenging.

Delightful spot with flavorful dishes and good service. Nice harbor view and atmosphere of the hustle and bustle of the docks. We were fortunate to watch as a 325 pound swordfish was brought in and weighted. What a cool experience!
