Bobby Boy Bakeshop

This is my first time at this location as I was running errands on the south side of town so why not stop in and get some baked goods. I was happy that they had some sliced spelt available, which I had some of last night and it was as good as always this evening. I had the raisin bread and my roommate had the eclair. My pastry was pretty good. It was missing some of the buttery lightness that I am accustomed too. My roommate really didn’t like the eclair so I had a bite off the other end and I have to say the taste of it was quite stale and I was really shocked! I’ve never had this from the Reynolda location. I’m not sure what happened here, but I’m not sure if I would revisit this location.

My son and I were so excited to visit here because we've been looking for somewhere with beautiful pastries to try after all of the hype! Googling around we found Bobby Boy and pictures of thier beautiful pastries online. We drove over from Clemmons and upon walking in youre immediately in a line for the counter. There were maybe 2 people waiting behind us when we got up to the counter. As this was our first time we wanted to take a look at the offerings and read the ingredients. Upon approach we were immediately asked what we wanted which was fine but as the male employee could obviously tell we were discussing each item and its ingredients it was a little abrupt. As we continued to order he asked us FOUR MORE times what we wanted to try and rush us. He was EXTREMELY pushy for no reason.

Bobby Boy Bakeshop (the award winning 🍰 🥐 pastry shop) just opened it's second location at the old Coca-Cola Plant (now Salem Bottle works). This location is superb and neighbors a brand new pizza shop run by the same owners. As for 🅿️ parking, there are ample spaces behind the building on Poplar Street, along with an overflow lot there as well. This location does have ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking, seating, and 🚻 restrooms. Now for the food! This place has amazing ☕ coffee, 🍵 tea, and espresso drinks for any taste. They also have amazing pastries, tarts, chocolate and regular 🥐 croissants, buns, cookies, treats and more. Enjoy them at the ample seating inside and outside.

We had a lovely lunch here today. The blueberry ginger drink was recommended and it was delicious. The pork belly had a fig and maple sauce which is very flavorful. The Cubano sandwich was very good but a lot for one person. The eclair was a perfect ending with a custard interior. Spent $45

This chic shop with beautifully presented and tasty food and coffee is a must! Five stars all day long!! The employees are so friendly and take pride in providing each customer with a top-notch experience.
