Bocao Restaurant

We were in town for NESBA finals and dropped in Bocoa’s after reviewing the menu. The atmosphere was a cross between wholesome and sophisticated. Diners who arrived knew others and see everyone interact like one big family. The service was friendly and welcoming. My husband ordered the Pulpo and I ordered Azzor Con Camarones. The food was delicious and presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend stopping in!

I order from Bocao frequently. They are close by, they have delivery not all of the time but you can order from other delivery services of your presence, they have excellent lunches Monday through Friday for $10.69 plenty of food and great flavors. I am not a fan of their deserts. I have had many others items on their menu and I haven't been disappointed yet. "Wait" I was from the calamari they were nothing to write ✍️home about it. I haven't visited during the evening or at night so I am not sure of the atmosphere or vibe of the place. A huge pluss ➕️ is that it has great 👍 parking I also think that their prices are fair and they are not cheap 😳 with their portions especially on their lunches. Food was amazing. Service was tragic. They never touched the table after they served our meals. We had to ask for drinks twice. They serve warm cans for $3.00. We ordered a meal to go while we were eating our meals and were still waiting an entire our later for it still. We had to go up to the front to ask for our meal so we could leave. There was a forced 15% tip on the bill. It was just two of us. I was surprised! Again, Amazing food. Tragic service.

This is an abuse. I went to eat and the young woman asked me if I wanted avocado. I told her yes. She also gave me a salad that didn't look very fresh because of the avocado. They charged me $5. That's abuse. Half of a small avocado. Charging $5 extra. The service is good, but they are very abusive with the prices.

Best service in Lawrence, the most flavorful locrio de chuleta paired with a delicious refreshing salad and an amazing variety with their picadera 10 out of 10 will always return this is the 4 th time I order, the staff is always so sweet and helpful!!!!!
