Boil City

My kids favorite place to eat and my favorite as well!! Anytime we go this way to visit her aunt Cathy we go to boil City first on the way there and we can bring her something from there the atmosphere is great the people are friendly they have drinks I'm going to post pictures of all of it!!! I'm going to show you several pictures of everything in the restaurant the whole place is beautiful!! When we first got they are my daughter had to use the restroom and we went inside it smells like cologne in there it was so clean it was immaculate!!!

If you want boil fast this is it, no wait time to be seated, food came out within 5 minutes or less. I got Cajun flavor and mild it had a slight kick to it. Shrimp peeled effortlessly and the crab meat popped right out. I plan on trying all the different flavors here. Free refills on fountain drinks and a good size wash station. That second picture was my Togo order which also came out under 5 minutes 🫡

Mom wanted lunch, so we decided to try Boil City in Beaumont on Skaggs Drive. We arrived at 11:20 a.m., and although they told us they didn’t open for another 10 minutes, we waited patiently. I ordered crab legs, lobster tails, and an order of boudin balls. My total was $83.04. I requested garlic butter lobster, but what came out was extremely spicy—so spicy that neither of us could eat it. When we mentioned the issue, the manager attempted to “fix” it by simply rinsing the lobster in water and putting it back in the same bowl that still had spices in it. The lobster was also overcooked to the point that we couldn’t even cut it with a fork. Lobster is supposed to be delicate, and this was the complete opposite. Kristal welcomed us to the restaurant with a warm smile and was very attentive throughout our visit. She made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. The crawfish were absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Great service and great food. We’ll definitely be back! 🦞

I would have given zero stars if that were an option. This isn’t about the price — it’s about the quality. We spent $100 for two people, and the food had zero flavor. If anything, the only flavor it had tasted like dirty mop water. Most places around here offer some kind of 5-pound discount during crawfish season; they don’t — but that wouldn’t have mattered if the food had been good. The crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs all tasted like they were boiled in plain water. There was oily seasoning on the outside of the crawfish, but none of it soaked in. The crab legs were hard to open, and the meat disintegrated when we pulled it out.
