Bojangles

My grandson and I dined in on Tue March 3rd and we should have left when they got the order wrong. I don't know if the cashier had a hearing problem or not, but she kept saying dine out when the customers said dined in. Anyway finally got our food and my wings looked like huge steroid wings and they looked distorted. The pinto looked like tomato sauce was in them. I got rice I didn't asked for. The fries was warm on the cooler side more. My issue was the wings. The only part looked cooked was the outside skin, which was hard as a rock. I pulled the the rat looking wings apart to discover the skin underneath was white and raw looking. The only thing on that plate was the biscuit, the tea wasn't good either. Ordered a 4-piece Supreme and received only 3 pieces. Not even surprised. At 7:00 on a Sunday night, this is the quality you can expect from the Bojangles on Dabney Drive. What a shame.

Whenever I come home, there’s one stop I have to make—Bojangles. It’s my guilty pleasure, especially after trying to stick to a healthy routine. But let’s be honest—some things are just worth it, and this Bojangles run did not disappoint. I was traveling from North Carolina to Virginia, and the food was everything I needed—warm, crispy, flavorful, and just plain comforting. The Cajun seasoning, the Bo Rounds, & the Cheerwine—it’s like a hug from the South with every bite. But what really made the visit special? The service. True Southern hospitality is alive and well here. The staff were kind, patient, and made me feel genuinely welcome. Ordered chicken sandwich, seasoned fries, and drink. Waited substantial amount of time for order to be made. A manager finally noticed several orders were waiting to be prepared and stepped up to the counter to get orders out. Sandwich was good, fries were s little oily.

I ordered the three piece dinner and the best part was the regular biscuit. The chicken was fine with the skin on but very fatty without. The lady in the drive through handed us our food without a bag, I had to ask for one. I was not impressed by this location but I will say the drive through moved quickly, the staff had gloves and masks on properly and the store looked clean.
