Bombay Darbar Indian Restaurant

Great place with excellent flavors. We were visiting Fort Lauderdale in January 2026 and stopped here for lunch. Although our experience started off a bit rough, as our lunch was delayed by about 45 minutes, we decided to wait. In the end, the wait was well worth it. The delay was more than compensated by a beautifully cooked Indian meal, rich in authentic flavors and well-balanced spices. Overall, the food left a very positive impression and made up for the long wait.

✨First visit to Bombay Darbar Las Olas. I was excited to dine here based on the outstanding reviews from locals in the area. I dined solo on a Sunday afternoon shortly after their opening. The staff are very warm and hospitable. My server - Kepar - provided me with excellent recommendations for food choices. He even suggested an item on the secret menu that I will definitely come back for more. The secret item is Peshawari Naan (made with nuts and coconut milk). I highly recommend to accompany any of the dishes. It is so tasty. The Peshawari Naan paired well with my vegetarian Saag Paneer entree. The restaurant atmosphere is aesthetically appealing and it is true fine dining perfect for groups, couples or solo guests. The manager went around welcoming guests and asking about their meal. (

Bombay Darbar is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant! I’ve been here several times and also ordered through Uber Eats, and it’s always amazing, consistent flavor, great portions, and fresh food every time. This visit, I tried the lamb chops for the first time and wow… 10/10! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and definitely my new go-to dish. Highly recommend this spot if you love authentic Indian food done right!

Review changed as response was acknowledged hopefully staff will service better and menu will be revised in near future. Tried Bombay Darbar for dinner and ordered Paneer Makhani, Biryani, Bullet Naan, and Garlic Naan. The naan was flavorful and fresh, but the rest of the meal didn’t quite meet expectations. The Paneer Makhani was okay, and the biryani felt more like vegetable fried rice. Overall, not too impressed this time, but I’d be open to giving it another try on a future visit to see if the experience improves.

The best Indian food! Such great service and atmosphere. A local gem on Las Olas. Our server, Vedang, is top notch! Always with a smile on his face and very attentive with the best attention to detail. Thank you for always giving us a memorable experience.
