Bon Bon Sandwiches

This takeout was incredible. I had the bulgogi bento box and a 1/2 order of wings. Everything hit. They’ll be seeing me again. 🙌🏾 Update: tried the lemongrass chicken and it was good. I would probably stick to the marinated beef box moving forward.

Bon-Bon at first glance of the interior may seem like it has no direction comma but people like me from the area or who understand that not every restaurant is obligated to look a certain way understand it. However, I can't acknowledge that the bespoke almost artistic level of basic furniture, not in unison may not appeal to most people. Although I'm sure they carry physical menus, the height inclined people may decide to just utilize a handwritten chalkboard that is behind the register and a wall with picture format of various things on their menu, however, I can acknowledge some of this may be seen as unnecessarily cumbersome. I usually get the bulgogi bahn mi, but today got the bento box and it’s amazing! So fresh and delicious. This place never misses ❤️

I stopped in on my way to catch the blue line to the airport for a quick bite. It was my first time and I couldn’t be more impressed with the diverse menu, the quality, flavors, atmosphere and quick service! I ordered the yellow curry tempeh bahn mi, along with kimchi fries. I usually don’t order fries but I couldn’t resist the unique combo! Everything was YUMMY. The sandwich’s neat presentation superb and the lightness of the bread offset the rich flavors of the curry beautifully. It was light yet filling. My friend had pho, which I tasted and enjoyed the flavor as well. The portion was generous, so on top of being delicious a terrific value! The server and co-owner was bubbly and pleasant and helped us feel right at home! Don’t miss this gem if you’re in Chicago for the first time

Bon Bon is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Tim and Jenny is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great Vietnamese egg rolls. Must come back. 10/10.
