Bonchon Manassas

I typically go to the centreville or gainesville location but was out in manassas for work so stopped by for takeout. I ordered their lunch special-wings + drums with fries and an order of buldak. I'm almost positive they use frozen wings at this location. Disappointing but not a deal breaker. The only time I see darkened bones like I had is with frozen wings The fries were given in the bags used for eggrolls. The ones I ate didn't have a single crunch to them, soggiest fries I had at any bonchon. The buldak is definitely not a buldak. It had 0 heat to it, and no cheese!! It was just stir-fried chicken, with what looks like ground up chicken, some onions and rice cakes, and scallions. I took a bite out of it anyways, spit it out and decided to call to return it. Peter is wonderful. Not only is he a kind person, he runs this Bonchon with integrity and it’s evident he truly cares. His restaurant is always clean, his staff are polite, and the quality of his food is unparalleled. This is the most superior Bonchon in the DMV and if you are to visit, show him gratitude by leaving a five star review. Thank you so much!

I'm in love with Bonchon double fried chicken. I usually get the classic or plain chicken wings but this time I got soy garlic. Mmmm so tasty! They have a variety of dipping sauces..maybe get 1 of each so you can find which one you like best. I like the spicy mayo. The chicken comes with either daikon radish or coleslaw. I like them both. I like the Korean donut. It's dense and full of flavor. You can get a vanilla dipping sauce i like mine plain.

We went there for a last minute dinner with an out of town guest. The greeter was very welcoming & friendly. He also seated & waited on us. He was the most professional & kind waiter we have probably had in 10 years. He was also processing carry out & checking on other customers. Dining room was light tonight but the atmosphere & food were excellent. We ordered house fried rice, spicy fries & fried chicken strips with soy/garlic & spicy. All excellent. We will definitely go back.

Bonchon Chicken 🐔chicken wings made were absolutely delicious 😋—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We all really loved them, and the flavor was truly special. I usually don’t dare eat fried chicken elsewhere, and if I do, I have to peel off the skin because the batter is usually too thick. But your chicken was perfectly done, and the meat was very fresh. My husband used to run a restaurant and normally doesn’t like chicken at all, but today he ate four or five wings and kept saying how authentic the flavor was 👍👍👍 Thank you again—we really enjoyed everything!
