Customer Reviews
Absolutely the best fried chicken place in the triad. Whether you like spicy or normal they have an amazing, fresh chicken sandwich. I also I love getting their cucumber salad as a side and their fresh lemonade. Anytime I’m driving through this area of Winston and it’s around lunch time I’m coming here.
First time here. And was taken back. When I saw the $18.00 for this meal. However, the experience and overall quality, definitely justifies the cost. I would definitely be visiting here again. All sauces but one are house made and flavorful. The bossy sauce pairs well with the fries. Speaking of the fries. They are fresh cut every morning. Kinda on a 5 guys level to be honest. So, don’t just enjoy to photos. Stop by, you will enjoy.
Every time I’m in the area I stop here for the best chicken sandwich in the world. I keep hoping they’ll make their way east but until then I’ll have to settle for hockey tournaments in the area. Today we came between 3-4pm for an early dinner. Excellent service by the three gentlemen working this afternoon. We got fries, The Beaut and wings and everything was delicious. I asked for extra pickles and I found two ramekins in my bag filled with them. Excellent as usual, super clean restaurant and very friendly people!
Hands down best fries in Winston-Salem. Closest thing to the fries I get back home in the ‘Burgh. They’re great in bossy sauce but honestly so satisfying in Heinz. The chicken sandwich was dynamite. The chicken was perfectly breaded and juicy. The homemade pickles were on point and the bun was so soft and fresh. Of course can’t go wrong with the slab of Duke’s! The customer service was excellent and the restaurant is clean and nostalgic.
Juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned—every bite hits. The portions are generous. The fries are just as good: crispy, well-seasoned, and actually flavorful, not an afterthought. Everything tastes intentional and crave-worthy. It’s exactly what you want when you’re ordering buttermilk fried chicken. Honestly? It blows Raising Cane’s out of the park. 🍗🔥
