I've visited Botolino Gelato Artigianale a few times, and it consistently impresses with its authentic and flavorful gelato. The selection of flavors is diverse and offers a delightful range from classic options like pistachio and stracciatella to more unique creations that you won't find elsewhere. Every scoop I've tried has been rich, creamy, and full of flavor--clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere inside is charming and inviting, with a cozy, modern interior that makes it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your treat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer samples and help you decide between their many tempting flavors. However, there are times when the shop can get quite busy, which means you might have to wait a bit longer to be served.

I’ve been told ice cream is the one thing that will always put me in a good mood, and honestly… they’re not wrong. I’ve had my fair share over the years, and being Italian, I was naturally drawn to this charming little shop with a name that sounded as Italian as it gets. The second you walk in, it smells amazing, and there’s always a steady stream of people coming and going. The women behind the counter were so friendly and welcoming, and they encouraged me to try as many flavors as I wanted, which I loved. Of course, I went straight for my favorite: pistachio. And wow. I stumbled across Botolino on Instagram after seeing a post that claimed it’s one of the best gelato spots in the US — and of course, I had to see if it lived up to the hype. Spoiler: it kind of does. I got the chocolate sorbetto and it’s easily the most intensely chocolaty gelato I’ve had — rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. I also sampled the lychee sorbet, and it was basically summer in a cup. Super fruity, super fresh. Their dessert cakes looked gorgeous, so I tried the coffee and the dark chocolate one. Unfortunately, they were served frozen solid. The flavors were good once they thawed a bit, but the texture and experience would’ve been so much better at the right temperature. The best ice cream in town. Nothing beats Botolino in Dallas. Great location at Preston Royale and great service always with amazing taste every time. A definite must every time! 10/10

I don't use the Lord's name in vain often, but omg, this place was phenomenal!!! This is elevated authentic gelato. Unique flavors and quality will have you coming back for more.
