Boudin SF

Great place for soup and a sandwich. There is a family meal for two that we took advantage of. Two soups in bread bowl, two cold sandwiches and 2 cookies for around $32. It's not on the menu, so you have to ask for it. Their tomato soup is so delicious!

Amazing! Got there right at opening, and was sat immediately. The Bread Bowl with that cla chowder is a must try. The sourdough was so soft and perfect. Added some crab to it too. Delicious.

A slice of cheese 🧀 in two slices of toast with a snail chips for $9.29 !!! Flat taste and very greasy. Its not worth wasting your appetite. This branch has both inside and outside seating. The description above is 6 years old. Boudin SF today looks and feels like what the pictures “from picture number 23 up” describe. The food taste has improved.

I’m more interested in what happened to the marvelous Potato soup I bought at my local Stater Brothers! It came in two containers and was in the refrigerator section. Went back to buy more because I loved it and alas, there wasn’t any. Just Panera, which doesn’t measure up to Boudin’s.

As always great food. And we got a GREAT DEAL on family meal deal. 2 sandwiches. 2 breadbowl soups. 2 cookies. 30$ . Glad that some casual restaurants realize that prices are out of hand and make it little more affordable for regular Joe.
