For starters, the hostess who greeted us was nice and had a smile. That’s always a plus when you first walk into somewhere you haven’t tried yet. She also didn’t give us an attitude when we asked for a booth <3 She was very nice about it. Our waiter was attentive and patient. He was also quite knowledgeable (thankfully) and when he wasn’t sure about something, he would go ask instead of just say “I don’t know”. It was quite loud inside, but it’s a sports themed restaurant with massive TVs and projectors all over, so it’s to be expected. The booths are decently tall, so it gave the illusion of more privacy, which was nice. It was kept very clean inside and all of the staff were pretty on top of everything. The only reason I give the Boulder Tap house 4 out of 5 stars is the prices of the food. Their menu if terrific! Lots of different, high quality burgers that have very different taste flavors. Today I had the Brown Suguar bacon burger and it was definitely as sweet as it sounds. My partner had the Garlic Aoil burger and it was a wonderful blend of garlic that did not over where your pallet. Their beer selection is top notch along with their cocktail menu. This is very much a sports bar with lots of TVs hanging on the wall but it doesn't take away from the atmosphere. However, charging 11 bucks for some cheese curds is almost criminal. The food and atmosphere here is flawless. Music isn’t too loud. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Seating is comfortable and plentiful. No complaints. Will definitely be coming here again in the future!

Stopped in for the first time to watch the Iowa State basketball game. We were pleased to get a table immediately. There were many, many tvs which enabled us great viewing no matter where we sat. The beer list was huge and we were offered samples before ordering. THANK YOU because we like trying new beers (our son had a pickle beer!) Our daughter really enjoyed her dirty soda. We started with fried cheese cubes and wings for apps. Both were outstanding (and we are snobs of both). Our service was OUTSTANDING thanks to Wyatt. He's probably one of the best servers we've encountered. We never waited for anything and he anticipated our every need. Be sure to have your fries seasoned with spices of your choice. I had such a wonderful time at Boulder Tap House! Jes, our server, was an absolute delight, she kept us laughing and was so kind, checking on us frequently. Her food recommendations were spot on, and choosing them turned out to be a great decision, so yummy. She truly made our experience there even better and more memorable.
