Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen

We have enjoyed coming to Bourbon Street in the past. The food was good and service is always good. But this time, we were extremely disappointed with the pricing. The Chefs Specials did not have pricing, but we figured it would be similar to the regular menu pricing. $63 for surf and turf?? Nothing special about it for that price. $50 for overcooked blacked snapper? That is ridiculous. At that price we could have ordered Sea Bass. Very disappointing.

It was our first time here, and we're already planning our return! Walking in, the decor instantly transports you to the New Orleans French Quarter.... it's elegant, but welcoming. The host and server were extremely polite and helpful with suggestions. We had the lunch specials and were very happy with the taste, portion size and selection. We had the Linguini Mardi Gras & the Cajun Combo, which I washed down with a nice beer in a chilled mug! 🍺 We were extremely satisfied with both dishes. The crab cakes, however, lacked a little something, but we're OK. We finished off with some creamy creme brulee which hit the spot! All in all we had a great lunch and already have our eyes set on tasting different menu items. Stop by!

We have been coming here for nearly 10 years and had never been disappointed - until tonight. I’m not sure if there is new ownership, management, or what; but the quality of this restaurant has declined considerably over the past year. It seems as though they have invested more in remodeling than quality food ingredients. The prices have increased, but the recipes have been changed - and not for the better. The service was not bad; but if you remember what it used to be like, it felt top tier. It just feels like any other restaurant now.

Great find! First time here. I'm from Louisiana and I can tell you the food is excellent. There's a great selection of food items to fit your budget. The drinks selection is large. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Almost sent to a dirty table but was caught and cleaned on the way. Server was nice and sweet. Bar was slow, took a long time to get an old fashion. When dinner was ordered so was 1 glass of wine. After dinner arrived our server was then reminded that wine was never received and still a wait before it arrived. Both fish dishes were very good. The lighter of the 2 pictures was the Diablo, which was because there was jalapeños in the dish which you can see no other heat was tasted. The darker dish is the Mississippi which got 2 filets both dishes by personal preference should get more shrimp, (all restaurants can be stingy with shrimp & we really like it 😁). Ordered shrimp & grits to go more grits was the only feedback other than they were good.
