Bovino after dark

What an incredible experience from start to finish! The restaurant offers an intimate chef’s counter experience, where you sit around the kitchen while the chef prepares each dish right in front of you, personally serving and explaining every course. The wine pairing was beautifully curated and elevated the entire evening. The food? Absolutely 1000/10 — every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It’s tucked away in an unassuming, almost hidden location — the kind of place you might not notice at first — but it is so worth it. Highly recommend. A spectacular experience. What Atlanta is missing is hospitality- the team at Bovino, including Roline, Alex and Nathaniel absolutely delivered. They make you feel like you’re dining in their home. Above and beyond with everything. Oh, and the food- incredibly thoughtful and imaginative. A+

On my instagram page, I have saved all of the restaurants that I want to try in Atlanta. One of the experiences I bookmarked was Bovino After Dark. So, I sent a message asking if they offered birthday discounts or specials because I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. Mr. Alex Sher responded, letting me know that while they didn't offer birthday specials, Thursday nights were their more affordable nights. So, since I was paying for myself and my 1st grader, I chose to celebrate on the upcoming Thursday. From beginning to end the service was immaculate. We came in for the Power Hour and had an amazing experience. Greeted so kindly, met several of the staff while we watched them prepare everything! We got the Platter to share which was perfect. Food was fresh and delicious! We will absolutely be back! Didn’t know they had another spot called 7th House that we will be checking out too.

Everything about our evening was a delight. The service was friendly (funny) and laid back, but at the same time incredibly well executed and thoughtful. The dishes were unique, delicious, and beautiful. The intermezzo was confusing but wonderful and such a fun experience of different flavors. Despite being in a pretty public bar, this ~15 seat bar, omakase experience feels very intimate, which is attributed to the warm atmosphere created by the attentive chefs and servers (who clearly love what they do and believe in the experience they’re curating). Absolutely recommend and will be back many more times.
