Customer Reviews
We decided to try this place because it was one of the few options opened that had both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. I ordered the Jalapeño Herb Aioli Cauliflower Nugget bowl & it was delicious. I really enjoyed the aioli the only thing I would add next time i go is more lettuce. My friend tried the Grilled Steak Rice Bowl & he gave it a 7/10. I would recommend this to someone looking for a light but also filling option.
Food is solid! Not gourmet but great for a quick convenient and balanced meal! Their teas are super sweet but when the ice melts, it is nice. The garlic fried rice sub is good HOWEVER not worth the up charge in my opinion. It just seems like a sauce tossed with the rice. My whole rice wasn’t coated it seemed like I was eating just plain white rice at times (see pic). Super cute that they wrote a personal note that!
This is our go to takeout spot! The food is always absolutely delicious, and they are incredibly generous with their portion sizes you definitely get your money’s worth. It never disappoints! My personal favorite is the grilled chicken jalapeño bowl it’s packed with flavor every single time. We order from here all the time at the hospital where I work, and everyone who tries it ends up loving their meal. It’s consistently fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!
⸻ I recently ordered the Grilled Steak Rice Bowl from Bowls of Rice at 3517 N Spaulding Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 (Order Details #CA36B151). The steak was excellent — very flavorful and cooked well. However, I was honestly surprised by how small the rice portion was, especially considering the restaurant’s name is Bowls of Rice. The rice serving felt extremely light compared to what I expected. That said, everything else about the experience was great. Parking was easy, and I really liked the convenience of receiving a text message to unlock my meal locker — that was a very cool and efficient touch. I’m willing to give it another try to see if this was just an off day or a portioning issue. The quality of the steak definitely makes me want to come back — I just hope for a more generous ric
Me and my coworkers came across this spot and are we glad we did!! Not overly priced yet overly good is the best way I can describe it. The portions are awesome (me and my coworker had small bowls and one had a large which was huge!) and the food was amazing. We will definitely be eating from here again and I will be telling everyone who I like because this is so good I may need to gate-keep it for a bit LOL
