Branded Bowls - Lakeside

Really enjoyed our meal! I had the Vaquero bowl. Excellent! A little more expensive than Chipotle, but very good portions. It’s definitely worth the extra few bucks. The other people with me all customized their bowls and were pleased. I did like the queso. Probably a 7 out of 10 for me. I’d get it again, but not on my Top 3 list for queso.

Guys actually was not expecting to give branded bowls a 5 star review but here I am! This review comes from a Mexican girly who loves chipotle so those were the vibes I prepared mentally for. Like other reviews have mentioned, everything tastes SO fresh! I got a bowl with light white rice, black beans, steak, veggies, pico, cilantro, the green salsa with avocado, lettuce, and cheese! I would have gotten some guac too but it was brown in the container which could be just that it’s so fresh it turned brown quickly, or it’s just old, or it’s not flavored and doesn’t have lemon! So I didn’t take the chance lol but my order was SO GOOD. I tried to order basically what I would get from chipotle and dare I say it was better!!! I’m a die hard chipotle person as it’s one of the only “fast foods” I

Was looking for a healthy restaurant near DFW and BB did NOT disappoint. -All food items very fresh. -everything cooked in beef tallow, and no seed oils on premises outside of mayo at time of posting (Oct, 2025) -portions generous (looking at you Chipotle 😠) -all items used are selected for quality, and it shows. -service was excellent, and staff even gave the g/f a sample of ground turkey. Overall verdict: 10/10, would go back, and would go out of the way to do so.

My second time coming here and decided to try the Barbacoa Quesadilla’s, let me just tell you. . Delicious😋. They were lightly crispy too! Comes with chips n salsa which were a surprise. Will return again and try the bowls next time.
