Brazos Tacos

Great location with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. Select tacos are included in their happy hour deals. There is a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan tacos - I highly recommend “this is my yam” and “triple pickle”

This restaurant is the BEST! The food is absolutely perfect, so flavorful and tasty. The Brazos Burrito is sooooo good. We had the Tres Leches cake for dessert which was also probably our favorite dessert we have ever gotten at a restaurant —ever!! The service is great as well! So friendly and welcoming. The patio is very nicely decorated and kept very clean/tidy. There’s absolutely nothing I could suggest to improve, they have it all figured out already! I wish I lived in this area, I would come back all the time. Next time I’m in Charlottesville I WILL be coming back!

We tried all six of the tacos on happy hour. They were all excellent, though I was partial to the vegetarian ones. The watermelon jalapeño margarita was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Nice outdoor atmosphere. Excited to return and try more!

Fabulous tacos! So many choices with great flavor combinations. The best I have ever had! Wonderful, helpful service especially from Stevie Jay at the counter. Don't miss the opportunity to go to Brazos!

I've spent more of my life in Texas than anywhere else, so I've heard every variation of "you can't get good tacos north of/east of/west of" that there is. And yet in three visits to Brazos Tacos in Charlottesville, I have yet to order a taco that wasn't as good as any taco I've eaten anywhere, including San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, and a baker's dozen smaller towns in Texas. And I'll stand on Matthew McConaughey's coffee table in my 45 year old Tony Lamas and say that. Try The Solid and the Guisada and go from there. It's gooooood.
