Look closely at the picture below. There are 4 pieces of meat from ox tails and a plate full of rice, gravy, and bones that were completely cleaned…all for $23. My son and I waited in their foyer for the longest before one of the young ladies acknowledged us. We arrived on a Sunday about an hour and a half before they closed (6p-Even though their website said they are open until 9p) We finally placed our order and waited forever to receive our food from the unfriendly young lady (who told us there wasn’t anymore rice when we ordered)…a total of $84 for 3 meals. I'm disappointed to say the least. The food wasn't seasoned and the Chitterlings were tough, like they weren't cooked long enough. The greens were watery, unseasoned and lacked flavor. The only thing worth eating was the 7 cheese macaroni and cheese. My food cost over $50 and I have to go get me something else to eat because I'm at work. My coworker ordered the Pig feet and rice and gravy and the 7 cheese macaroni. She also was disappointed. They only gave her 2 pieces of pig feet. They also didn't give us any eating utensils. This establishment needs to do better

I came in this past Saturday afternoon hoping it was going to be good day and im telling my fiance that its the same ppl from the church when it was there, but something went wrong, the dressing was not it it was salty and didn't taste good at all. And my yams had a burnt taste and too sweet for my liking. My boo oxtails were tough and he only got 2 small pieces not to mention the rice was hard as ever. Bread of heaven was out of most of all the meats on the menu and etc. I really dont like doing this but I work to hard for my $. It was a waste of time and to drive to receive bad food and to be disappointed. I tried calling back and no answer then it kept hanging up, I'm like really wow .

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time this week. I was very nervous because of the reviews. We actually ended up eating breakfast because we didn't realize lunch didn't start until 11:30. The breakfast was ok, just as good as other places. I got a lunch plate to go of meatloaf (which I was told is the most popular), collards and macaroni and cheese with extra sides of potato salad and yams. Everything was very delicious and enough for me to split and have for 2 days! The potato salad is definitely homemade. The yams were sweet just like I like them. The collards were cooked well with meat and no fake taste with liquid smoke like some places have and the mac and cheese had creamy cheese throughout. HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from the lady with the jet black hair with the bun on top of her head. False advertised turkey wings on website. It says TURKEY WINGS with GRAVY . when I received it was CURRY turkey wings. no one ever apologized they tried to blame me for not telling them I did not want curry. But how was I suppose to know if it says gravy. NOT gravy/curry. Just turkey wings with gravy on website.
