Customer Reviews
My wife and I were meeting friends here for the first time for dinner before Panhandle’s Home Coming game. Quaint restaurant that use to be a bank. (That’s what I was told by my friend, who grew up here.) The place was clean and spacious. Our server was attentive and professional. We started out with the Cheese Sticks and Fried Jalapeños. Both were delicious and would definitely recommend. Out of the four of us, everyone enjoyed their meal, except me. My wife had the Grilled Chicken and said it was good. Our friends had the Chicken Strips and enjoyed their meals as well. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak w/ a loaded Baked Potato and Corn. Unfortunately, the only item good on my plate was the baked potato. The fried steak was frozen, not fresh and was tougher than leather. The bre
We drove over from Amarillo to try this restaurant. Service was a little awkward, but kind and friendly. The portion sizes were large and definitely get your "money's worth." We had the fried jalapenos, patty melt, and chicken fried steak. Everything was cooked well and flavorful. I was able to finish the patty melt in a single go, it was hard to put down. I do think we overdid the fried elements with the onion rings and I should have tried some of the sides to balance out getting the jalapenos. It's worth a stop for classic American food.
Sat at the bar didn't have food yet but next time I possibly will. The establishment was an old bank turned restaurant/ bar was very interesting and will go back again and again.
It was my first time there. The service was friendly. Out waitress kept making her rounds to make sure we all had plenty of drinks and ensure we didn't need anything else. I had the 8oz Sirloin with a dinner salad and okra. I've never had that much okra as a side!! I enjoyed my lunch!
The food from here was absolutely delicious. Twice fried sweet potato fries. I had the steak and grilled shrimp. Steak was medium top to bottom. Shrimp was grilled beautifully with a butter sauce that wasn’t too much. I’ll be back. Damn sure of that
