Brickyard BBQ

In fear of posting because I see the owner loves to berate people who leave low reviews but I felt the need to be honest. The reason we stopped is because I was craving bbq and trying to hunt down a great find. Over all service was polite, restaurant was very clean and had a lovely esthetic. Bathrooms were even some of the cleanest I have seen. All staff practiced great hygiene wearing gloves etc while handling food product. 3 people: 3 drinks 2 potatoes 1 Nachos 1lb of ribs = $80 BBQ Potatoes were a good size. It had lots of meat. The Nachos were lacking for price point and were mostly pinto beans. Meal would have been reasonably priced if the meat was good. Brickyard BBQ was great! Ended up getting the chicken pate with corn and pinto beans, the chicken was moist and very well seasoned, the cream corn was delicious and the beans were good too! The pricing is very respectable for the amount of food that’s given. The atmosphere is very nice, I’m sure that even on a busy day it would be a wonderful atmosphere. The service was very well and you got your food out pretty fast! I wanna say no more then 5 min. Honestly would definitely recommend to visit and check out. .

First time coming to this “BBQ” restaurant, I wanted to taste a little bit of everything to make sure that I gave it a fair shot. I ordered the chicken plate with cream corn, beans, and added ribs. 2 tacos, 1 brisket, and 1 sausage. I also asked how they made their potato salad because I don’t like sweet potato salad. They gave me a little sample as I was trying some; it was very sweet. The cashier told me who makes sweet potato salad. I wanted to tell her, “Well, you guys,” but I didn’t want to come off rude. The food came out really fast! Well…. Chicken plate with cream corn, beans, ribs, side of white bread, sliced pickles, and onions. Ordered the brisket plate with potatoes salad and beans. Grabbed an ice tea and sat at the back of the restaurant. My order was ready in short time. Plate included sliced onions, pickles, and sliced bread. The beans were nice cooked with a sprinkle of pepper and not overwhelming. The potato salad was dreamy, it was mustard based and had a tang but I could also detect a sweetness to it also and it was creamy. The brisket was excellent, I tried it without bbq sauce and it stood on its own. Inside it looked new, clean, and was nicely decorated. Overall I very much enjoyed dining here. 👍

Was visiting the hospital down the street and decided to eat lunch here. Brisket was great and the loaded baked potato was also very good. The sausage was very dry kinda like dehydrated, probably was left overs. The creamed corn was drowned in liquid and not creamy at all (although it tasted good). The potato salad tasted store bought so very disappointed. Service was good.
