Brio Italian Grille

This Italian restaurant is fantastic! The cuisine is absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and perfectly cooked dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place for a casual meal or a special night out. Friendly staff and attentive service make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian food. Btw, they are open on Sunday while a lot of other restaurants near by are closed.

This meal was disappointing, which was frustrating given the high expectations. I ordered the Gluten free filet mignon medium and requested mashed potatoes instead of the fingerlings. I wasn’t told they were out of mashed potatoes until the meal arrived, and the fingerlings were served instead. The fingerlings tasted burned, and the filet had a strong burned flavor on top, which made it unenjoyable. For a $52.99 dish with a very small portion size, this was especially disappointing. I want to be clear that this was not the fault of our waitress, Ashley. She was kind, attentive, and doing her best during what was clearly a very challenging day. This is my second time here. Not a huge fan of it. It comes off as a very fancy place, and the prices reflect that but the quality of food is what I’d expect at a family dinner place. Several of us got the same beef medallions and mine were way overcooked and others were still quite rare in the middle. Rather inconsistent. They gave us some bread prior to sitting down and wow that is nice. The bread was not very good and the butter was not very good butter. The lobster bisque was very good. It was sweet and creamy and had a great amount of spices. I would’ve preferred to just have another bowl of the lobster bisque for my main course.

The restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating options. The location is perfect around the corner from the City Creek mall. The food was amazing, plan on $30 per person without drinks. The music was nice and light making conversations easy. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.

This was our first visit. We chose this restaurant because of the good rating, but unfortunately our experience was not what we expected. The lamb chops were very salty and burnt, and the mashed potatoes were cold. The drink I ordered didn’t taste right and the replacement was never brought. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but everything took a long time, including the check. It seemed like there was simply not enough staff. I hope the restaurant improves the service in the future.
