Broad Street Bagel Co & Brooklyn Pizza

A welcome addition to the local eat in, take out bagel and bakery scene. I placed on online order yesterday and called to confirm it. When I tried to pick up this AM they did not have it, but were apologetic and put it together quickly. It happens! Got a dozen bagels and two containers of cream cheese. The bagels are good, not great but certainly better than the “uncommonly” bad bagels elsewhere. Not quite as good as Pearl’s however. They have many varieties, including pumpernickel everything, egg, and egg everything which is great. The bagels do not have a crusty enough chewy enough exterior. The crust consistency is similar to the inside consistency. The cream cheese was great and there are a HUGE number of flavors. Would like to try the eat in. Lots of good choices.

We have visited 4 times now and unfortunately have been increasing disappointed each time. First, the bagels were good but nothing special. Second, we ordered a cheese pizza and a white broccoli with ricotta. The cheese pizza was very good but due to its thin style, it did not hold up well as it cooled. Be sure to eat it hot. The white pizza was perfect with the right amount of broccoli and ricotta. The ricotta was the perfect texture with a light flavor. Third, we tried a few pastries including one that looked like a clam and was filled with sweet ricotta. These were excellent; light and flaky with lightly sweetened ricotta. We tried the Sicilian a few times and find the sauce too sweet and lacking the robust depth we prefer. The cheese is weird; I don’t have a better way to describe

I want to enjoy this place as the bagels are good. Unfortunately I have been twice and my order has not been correct each time and that will be the last. Both times I ordered an everything toasted bagel received a plain non toasted bagel each time as well as others issues my first order. My orders are to go and do not notice until I am in the car. It is unfortunate as I am sure I am not the only one. Photo shows everything bagel listed but plain.

The only place around that doesn't skimp on the cream cheese and bagels are yummy. True Long Island/New York style bagels! Excellent Latte seasonal flavors! Can't wait to try the white broccoli or pepperoni pizza with more added veggies! Thank you Danielle for your hospitality and great service.

A really welcome addition to the capital region bagel scene & to Bethlehem! The bagels are so delicious - they’re a perfect height, a light crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. I am a sucker for homemade cream cheese and their veggie cream cheese is incredible. Bagels = homemade, delicious boiled bagels in a range of flavours Cream cheese = homemade, delicious, really interesting flavours I’ve been to the kinderhook location and I will say their store location is a bit better than the slingerlands location (right in town vs. suburbs) but I think this is my new go-to bagel spot when I’m back visiting the family!
