Brooklyn Public Library - Dyker Branch

My children and I love it here, and the staff were patient enough to get us library cards when we first arrived last week. She also kindly asked me if I needed a chair when my little kids was playing on the computer. It is a very warm library, but it is noisy when there are many people. Children generally do not control their volume well.

The story time schedule did not mention the need for tickets, so the children were unable to enter the classroom when they arrived.

Closed due to icy weather. Only knew this once arriving to the location today. In the future if weather is bad, more than likely it’ll be closed.

I always come here when I was little workers were friendly and respectful they dont have most of the books that i wanted though

So... this is my first time visiting. I stayed there Friday from noon till afternoon. It was full of kids, which makes this place very loud, not a good place for studying right afternoon, morning would be much better.
