Brooklyn Public Library - Highlawn Branch

Very noisy! Strangers keep coming and going not for reading, but for watching videos on line or chatting loudly! This place is not for quiet studies, definitely.

I’ve been coming here since middle school (7 years ago), and the staff here are always friendly and helpful with any questions. I had trouble with the printer before, and one of the staff helped me with the issue. Just don’t go here to study, it’s way too loud with all the kids.

Good place, offers a wide range of collection of books. Been coming here since I was 8 (I’m now 19) - don’t come here if you want to study, it’s always hectic and noisy. However, they do offer seating for adults & kids, but does that little to no difference.

When I was little, the staff here were amazing and it was so neatly divided. Sadly, they closed years ago and are taking a very long time to renovate it but I have a good feeling it is going to be worth it's while. It would've been nice to see them make it a two story but they weren't building from scratch. I also tried to call them when I saw the hours on google change and the BPL said it's open yet when I walked in, everything was still under renovation and I had to leave.

It's just perfect. Great customer service, and it's a great place to study for kids and adults. Diverse selection of books. And you could always order a book from another library 🇺🇲 Great design of the library itself.
