Customer Reviews
Good selection of kids books. That being said, it is so dirty around the kids area. Don't know if they clean later in the day but floors and tables were so grimy. You would think they would clean a bit more during sick season
A much needed, well maintained Public Library. Always a friendly librarian to patiently answer any questions. It is quite small, but well organized. Lots of young kids go there for reading activities, thus it has a large children’s section. I use it to reserve books when I get tired of reading via Kindle. This library is a huge, necessary ingredient in my neighborhood. I’m glad it’s there.
The library is close to where I live, so it’s convenient. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I try to get personal and work projects done here. It can be difficult because it can feel like a call center at times. Which; even with headphones, it can be inconvenient. I doubt it’ll change, because public libraries all around N.Y.C seem to be heading this direction; especially with more kids and parent programs becoming available.
I went to the library today and one of your librarians was wearing a keffiyeh. You’ll deny it, but it is a symbol of hate. A public library should be apolitical and anti hate. Allowing this is gross. Muslims I know would never wear that because they know what it means. Why does a librarian in a public library think this is ok? Its disgusting.
Just get there before school dismisses of course, other than that its pretty productive.
