Customer Reviews
The staff here are very helpful and patient with answering all your questions. They have a big variety of books and desktop computers available. The only downside is the facility itself, it looks a bit worn out and could use some renovations.
I haven't been in this library since I was a kid. Boy has it changed. It's mostly tons of computers now and a bunch of teenagers napping on the desks. Probably skipping class. No enthusiasm for books. I saw no one reading a book or browsing. It's almost as like I'm the weirdo for looking at the books. Before the Internet this place was full of readers and people checking out magazines, newspapers renting movies. Kids having fun. Now it looks like a place to hide and be antisocial.
Every Tuesday there is a kids tach time which starts at three o clock my kids said it was so fun and also you need to go to the community room to play something with Nintendo switches. Will go every Tuesday.
It's a great library with all kinds of genres, fiction, science fiction, you name them. They have a pretty inside with different recommended books for each season/holiday. The only flaw is that people scream and yell when using the public computers, normally video games.
I had a really disappointing experience at this library. I was waiting in the children's area for my reserved private room to become available (only for about 10 minutes), as the other section was fully occupied. A librarian approached me and told me I couldn’t sit there, which seemed unnecessary given the situation. I then politely asked if I could access my private room a little earlier to prepare for my virtual meeting, as there was no one occupying it and no bookings prior to mine. Instead of simply explaining the protocol, the librarian rudely told me I should’ve booked earlier. Very unhelpful and frustrating experience overall.
