Brooks Burgers Pismo Beach

Great burger and fries. By far the best I have come across. I travel the US and make it a goal to try the local burger joint and see where it tops in my favorite burger. This just beat my all time favorite burger and fries that was set high back in 2018. 7 years later this had been beat. Hats off to West Coast Brooks Burgers.

GREAT food and service. Ultimate Tri tip dip was fabulous, flavorful and perfect bread choice, a must try. California kid burger was also very flavorful and cooked excellent. Chicken sandwich was also eaten and was a star of its own. Eat here and you will be fulfilled.

The positives: the food was excellent! I ordered the Brooks Burger with a few modifications—no sauce, but I added mayo, mustard, and fresh onion instead of caramelized. The burger was cooked to perfection and exactly as I requested. My wife ordered the Shroom Burger as it was listed on the menu, without the sauce, and it was prepared as requested. Both burgers had a very flavorful grill. The fries were seasoned and delicious. When I picked up the order, I noticed that milkshakes were listed on the menu board. I requested a chocolate shake, but the woman at the register rudely informed me that they didn't have milkshakes. If that's the case, why are they listed on your menu board? It would have been nice if she had responded more politely.

Tried this local Burger place while exploring the Central Coast and glad I did. It showed up as highly recommended and rated. There are a number of great burger choices but went with the basic Cheeseburger. It was hot and fresh and very tasty. They know what they are doing. If you want a great local non-big chain burger this would be a great choice. Highly recommended.

What happened? We have been customers for YEARS and never have been disappointed until recently. The last 2 times we have gone the bun is stale, COLD, and falling apart. The burger patty is not seasoned at all so that really sucks and takes away from all the other flavors you are supposed to taste. I hope they go back to old ways. I was a very loyal customer and now I can't see myself coming back sadly until confirmed they have fixed the issues.
