Bruster's Real Ice Cream

I was there yesterday, January 13th around 3:30. I was in the drive thru and everything was great until the Team Member asked me if I wanted to provide an optional tip. It felt genuinely out of place. I’ve been here a hundred times and never have been asked if I wanted to tip. And the funny part is I always tip whomever is in there really well during the day because they’re generally in there by themselves. I tipped her but I had intended to tip her more because it was busy and I was buying a pint which takes more time. The abrupt and out of place question cost her more money. Not sure if it’s a training issue or what. But asking for tips is a sure fire way to leave a negative impression on your patrons.

Good ice cream but slow service. 10 minutes to get a scoop in a cup. Bottom scoop was melted. Almond Chocolate Coconut I E cream tasted good.

5 out of 5 stars for this amazing crew!! We couldn't wait any longer to find out if we were having a boy or girl. So I walked up to the counter, asked if they could make a strawberry shake for girl or a chocolate shake for boy, turned my phone over to them for a minute, and the whole store was happy and willing to help us! They even covered the top of the cup so we wouldnt know until we were ready! Ps. Its a girl!

Have enjoyed your ice cream many times. But drive-thru experience was awful simply because the music playing while ordering was annoyingly loud. Barely able to communicate. Asked if it could be turned down - NO! Seriously, what’s the point? Absolutely play it everywhere else on property, but is it necessary to do it right at drive-thru speaker?
