Bruster's Real Ice Cream

First time trying this new location. I like the concept out the outdoor environment with the walk up window to order, no indoors. When I first reviewed the menu, I saw there was a Cookie Dough and Mint Oreo, I asked floor samples. I thought the mint was to much, sweet and minty. The cookie dough tasted good for the sample. I got a waffle cone, which they make homemade. Figured I give it a try - since I’m quite the waffle cone fan. For the cone itself - it tasted good, it was softer, little flimsy at times, and felt thin. Not as durable/thick as I usually like. I got two scoops of ice cream, cookies & cream along with cookie dough. First thing the ice cream was certainly soft for ice cream, and to me, “creamy”. Which I don’t mind, and like. The service is spectacular. Very impressive especially since most were younger. Your order at a to go window and there is no seating save for a few plaza benches out front. The ice cream not so spectacular. Tasted a few different flavors and we were not impressed. The chocolate was a disappointment as even store bought tastes better. The Dubai chocolate was even worse. We prefer Lily's down the street as it tastes so much more homemade.

You can tell the icecream is made in house. I love the assortment of flavors, & love put into every batch. The girls at the window, are patient, & knowledgeable on the flavors, as well as how the icecream is made. It's a walk-up counter, so don't expect to go inside for service. We bought 3 pints last night...Let's just say, they didn't last very long in this house 😅 Can't wait to try more !

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in Boynton Beach on Military is a great new addition to the area. The ice cream itself was excellent, creamy, flavorful, and with a wide variety of options to choose from. Definitely one of the better ice cream spots around. The only downside was the ordering process. Since there is no indoor seating, you have to order outside, and when we went around 5 PM the sun was shining directly at the ordering window. It reflected back on customers, which made waiting and ordering pretty uncomfortable in the heat. I would suggest they consider using the side window where customers pick up the ice cream instead, as it would make the experience much more enjoyable. Tried out this place tonight around 6:30pm after having dinner in the same plaza. Wonderful, sweet staff who took great care of my son and I! He had 2 scoops of ice cream - Cotton Candy Explosion & Cookies and cream and he said it was really good! I had the Blueberry Cheesecake in a waffle cone and could honestly taste the difference in this ice cream! It was creamy, smooth and decadent! I made sure to tell the young blonde girl working and she said everything is made daily and they switch out flavors often! Waffle cones are made in house! I highly suggest coming here!
