The food is made fresh and its easy to tell once you taste it. The added time it takes to make the fresh from scratch meal can be spent enjoying the ambiance, sorting through merch or trying to decide on one of the many wonderful drink options ( I had the churro chai). All in all a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a homemade style meal.

I had the 3 taco plate, 2 birria tacos and 1 carne asada. The carne asada was cooked well and very tender and flavorful. The birria tacos were so flavorful and the sauce that came with them to dunk was very tasty. The sides of rice and beans both very good. Will come again

I absolutely loved it here! Definitely worth the drive, it’s so traditional and so comfortable the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was really nice. Even the atmosphere, the mason jars for the coffee was super cute! I will be back soon!! Food is very delicious as well!!!

We were craving breakfast, so we visited this cozy spot serving breakfast. They also had lunch and dinner options on the menu. Note that this is a self-service restaurant, meaning you grab your own water, utensils, napkins, and choose your table. We weren't aware of this setup initially. After finding a table, we ordered at the counter, and our food arrived in about 15 minutes. When the waitress delivered our meal, we asked for silverware. She brought one set, though we were two people, so I requested another. She gave me an odd, slightly annoyed look but grabbed another set. At this point, we realized the self-service policy wasn’t clearly communicated to us, though we noticed staff informing other customers to get their own items after the incident. This left us feeling a bit overlooked

I really enjoyed the freshness and flavors of the dishes we ordered. Their homemade tortillas were delicious. The staff was lovely and even brought us extra chips. This was my first visit, and I will definitely go back to try out other items on the menu.
