Burger Boyzz & Fruit Freezz Boardwalk

Great service, just not a good burger. It's unfortunate because they seem to be using high quality ingredients. The toppings were nice and I saw Pat LaFreida patties and Martin's Potato Rolls for buns. So why was the food not good? Firstly, the meat probably had good potential, especially if it was Pat LaFreida. However, it was extremely overcooked. There was no juice whatsoever and all of the fat had been rendered off, so it was not a good flavor. The patty was overdone, instead of an ideal medium or even juicier medium rare. Next, the buns were not toasted. Martin's Potato Rolls are arguably some of the best hamburger rolls/buns. But they need a solid toast with butter to bring out their flavor. While waiting, one of the owners family members, Johnny, started chatting it up with me (Jon) and another John lol. Their first yr here, NICE staff, family owned, great menu, and decent prices! We were on our way to the pizza place next door but saw the line was really long and thought we could use a burger tonight. We're glad we did and wish them nothing but the best and a long future here! Burgers were decent, but not enough for the price. No free refills, trash cans overflowing, tables need to be wiped down. Manager decided to change what was included on the menu without editing the screen. Overall it was ok, but nothing special. The tap water tasted very very wrong. Not impressed

The cheesesteak artistry of Big Mike, combined with the friendly service, and the ambiance of the OC boardwalk produced one of the finest cheesesteaks on the planet. In Colorado, we have the “green chile Philly” - a fusion of a cheesesteak and the famous Pueblo chiles we grow at our longitude. But it pales in comparison to the steak Mike crafted for me with cheese, onions and cherry peppers, all on a locally sourced roll and grilled to perfection. Even the presentation of the cheesesteak was so good, we had to photograph it. The grilled cheese my daughter ordered, parmesan fries, and bay fries were also top shelf. This cheesesteak single-handedly lifted my spirits after a long day on the beach and in the ocean. There is no other place in all of Ocean City worthy of ordering a cheesesteak.

Went here with my family Sunday night 9/20/25. Service was great . Hostess was extremely friendly and helpful especially with the youngsters. Counter was clean as well as the seats there. Had one smash burger that was delicious. Asked for pickles instead of red onion. No problem and the burger was great. Wrapped nicely and put in a paper bag if we wanted to take it with us but we stayed at counter. I also ordered the Battersea Burger. This burger was the best burger I ever had. I got it just as described and it didn’t disappoint. Great burger. Fries were plentiful and not the least bit greasy… All in all for small burger place on the boardwalk you will be pleasantly surprised and impressed. Keep up the nice work.
