I’ve been coming for Burma a couple years and have nothing but great things to say. From the -Cleanliness of the facility- routine in-depth cleaning I’ve seen first hand every night from the bathroom to the floors. -Personable and attentive staff that are always welcoming. Special shoutout to Laynee, Oleg, Tiffany, and Gigi -Multiple different activities to do from a extremely well maintained pool table, chess, board games, and studying areas -Warm and welcoming ambiance, atmosphere, and guests -Affordable and strong drinks. I’ve spent 4-5 times the amount at other big name bars and left feeling nothing. Burma Kava Bar is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy, and genuinely welcoming environment that immediately puts you at ease. Saw that Burma started staying open 24/7 and stopped in late while I was traveling. I didn’t really know much about the kava experience, but the girl working overnight was amazing… (believe her name was Kylie??) super high energy and really knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the differences between items on the menu and helped me pick something I’d like. I ended up ordering a double shell with cinnamon and vanilla (her recommendation) and a watermelon mojito. They were both perfect and made so aesthetically! Great vibe and service. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

My friends and I have been long-term customers and have enjoyed this business for years. Unfortunately, our experiences have changed a lot over the last several months, especially in the past couple of months. Whether others notice it or not, it’s felt very clear to us that a certain kavatender doesn’t seem to treat us the same as other customers, and it’s created an uncomfortable environment for me and the people I’m with. There have been multiple times where we’ve waited a long time without being acknowledged or served while others around us were helped immediately. We’ve also had moments where we felt unwelcome or ignored based on the way we were addressed, or not addressed, by specific staff members.
