Burrito Jimmy

I went to Burritos Jimmy today(12/22/25) during my lunch break. I was in the mood for something yummy and decided to take my chances with this location. Since it was given a good review and let me tell you TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! When I walked In the first thing I noticed was that the food bar was very low in options. and their veggie bar was empty. There was beans, rice , 2 zucchini's types and bell peppers and I think onions, ALL MEAT (cooked) was submerged in water completely covered in water. There was 3 meat options Chicken, brisket and asada. I was going to walk out but gave it a benefit of doubt and tried not judging it by its "cover" I bought the Carne Asada Quesadilla "combo" and the best way I can describe it Taco Bells quesadilla You know that skinny almost flat chick

Food is similar to chipotle in the manner in which you can choose each ingredient according to your liking however the woman at the cash register has a terrible attitude. I visit often, 2-3 times a week even, and I’ve never see her smile or look pleasant. Today she was upset because she thought I wanted a free cup of salsa which should have been provided with my original order. I ended up paying for it (even tho I was owed one) but the way she acted about a salsa cup on a $30+ order is ridiculous. The gentleman working is always a pleasure to greet.. hopefully his attitude can rub off on her a bit.

I gave this place a second chance today and still feel the same way as before…the meat tastes artificial has no seasoning at ALL!!! I wouldn’t mind as much if they’d change their rude demeanors. I won’t be back a third time, lesson learned. You want a cheap bite? Well just remember you get what you pay for!!!!

Absolutely delicious. I got the small smothered burrito wit my a side of queso and chips. Ate the meal in 2 different settings, as their portions are generous. Decently priced and insanely tasty. Definitely my new favorite place!

Jimmy Burrito has really good food. It's like a Subway for tacos and burritos. I like that they have steamed vegetables. It gives this restaurant a unique taste. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is near Irving.
