Burros & fries Gilbert

5 stars for food and service. Great menu, variety of choices. Pepsi products - prefer Coke, but seems like Pepsi is making a comeback here in Phoenix. Never had been to this chain before. Just opened in my neighborhood in Gilbert. Grateful to have it so close to home! Food is GREAT! The STAFF is GREAT! There is even a small/medium sized outdoor patio for dining. Music volume is good -loud, but not too loud - you can have a conversation here without having to yell over the music. The restaurant is new, so it is clean, but could be cleaner in the dining area, especially at noon. Tables, seats need to be ready for customers, and no one cleaning the dining area in the 35 min I was here. Very kind staff. The ingredients are very fresh. All the salsa’s are flavorful. The slices of carrots are delicious. The tortilla for the beef flautas are very good. The corn tortillas for the carne asada tacos are delicious. I have to admit the surf and turf fries are pricey, I only got like 6 shrimp and the shrimp was lacking flavor. I have to also mention the fries were average, nothing special, the sauce and ingredients on the fries were delicious though. The beans and rice are very flavorful which is rare these days. The agua de jamaica is top tier!!!!! The dining area and restrooms were very clean.

Just went through the drive through a couple minutes ago and ordered the surf and turf fries I asked to make there they didn’t come with sour cream and I was reassured they didn’t. When I get home they’re covered in sour cream. Very disappointed.

First time trying Burros and Fries, we had the Carne Asada burro with Chipotle Sauce and Carne Asada loaded fries. Both were very good, the Carne Asada was tender and flavorful. It was our first time, so Gunner, the cashier, helped us make some choices. Would definitely go again.

The burritos are big and tasty. The salsa is good. We didn’t like the fries but will go back for the burritos.
