DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES. My ex-husband and I received a notice from the IRS regarding our 2017 taxes that we filed through Burton E. Carter. The notice stated that the car we purchased was filed incorrectly. When we met with him, after providing all of the requested information about our car purchase, he told us that we qualified for a large tax credit because of that purchase. However, according to the IRS, we would've only been eligible for this tax credit if our car was an Ioniq Electric Battery vehicle (a full EV). According to the IRS’ research, this was incorrect because our vehicle is a hybrid with a battery, that does not have at least 5kw hours of capacity. Burton E. Carter should have known and caught this while filling our taxes. Now we owe nearly $12k to the IRS, all due to a
a company that cares about you and does your taxes and accounting correctly. highly recommend and have used them for years.
