Buster's Texas-Style Barbecue

I do have to ding them on service because they had one guy working and the line did not move fiveever. But he must have yelled at someone cause it started moving. I got the three meat combo. Brisket, turkey ribs. I munched on the ribs first. Seasoned well. Good flavor and tender. Turkey was next on the pile. Good flavor slightly dry but that was quibbling still a tasty treat. I asked for moist brisket because the stuff on top did not look moist. He pulled out a new cut and it was fantastic. Very enjoyable surprise here in the Portland area.

Finally went here today. It was amazing! Had beef brisket sandwich in onion roll, Mac and cheese,potatoes skins with brisket and jalapeno poppers. Everything was delicious. Their sauces are incredible, and you can buy it to take home at a good Price. I can't wait to go back and try other stuff! Love the atmosphere and service too.

Visited first time and liked it a lot. Love the ambience. The chicken was so tender and juicy. Loved the food. Will visit again

My family and I have been coming to Buster's forever. This is the best BBQ restaurant in the area for Texas style. The meat is seasoned and beautifully smoked. The yummy BBQ sauce is added by you. I have never had a bad meal here. Their quality is so consistent. We usually get brisket & ribs. I love their salad (awesome blue cheese dressing), garlic bread, green beans, fries, & mashed potatoes/gravy. This is a very old school, no frills but outstanding restaurant. We've had several birthdays here over the years and it's always wonderful. I order their catering for work parties too. Thanks Buster's for all the great food and memories.

My husband and l went here for a lunch date. When we arrived we told the employee that we had never been here before. She said menu is over there and then tell him over there and walked away. We gave our orders and went down the line. As we got to the cashier she walked away for a few minutes then came back to ring us up. The food was bland. The half chicken my husband got was not cooked all the way through there was still blood. The pork ribs were tough. Overall just not a good BBQ place especially with how much it cost.
