Byrd's Hot Chicken

Came in for the first time on a weekday after leaving a doctors appointment for something quick. When I came in, I was surprised that the place was completely empty and did not see anybody coming in and out while we were there not even for delivery or pick ups. This location is small with no tables to eat only a sofa with a middle table similar to what a coffee shop would have. So this spot is not good if you are planning to eat there. The gentleman that took my order was nice and the food came out pretty quickly. We decided to order some wings and a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was thick and creamy. Their chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. Based on the restaurants set up I’m not sure if this will be a place that I will be back too

I’ve actually eaten here three times prior to me getting around to this review, but Byrd’s Hot Chicken has been consistently been very good. I’ve had their wings, their Byrd Bomb (loaded fries), milkshakes, and their tenders. Their wings and tenders are jumbo; their serving size of six wings with french fries is definitely filling even for people with big appetites. Their milkshakes use real ice cream, and milk, which is surprise. Their service has been great. I’ve always been greeted when coming in, and if they ask if I need any help ordering from their kiosk. A handful of times when I wanted to pay in cash, they happily took my order themselves. All of the food is prepared to order, so you do have to wait 10-15 minutes or so, but that’s just the way I like it! To top it off, all of their

We ordered Togo and we were very pleased! Their hot chicken hamburger was delicious but it wasn’t as spicy as we expected but the flavor was really good. The restaurant looks great inside and very clean. I noticed they didn’t have any tables so I assumed they only do Togo orders or because the restaurant is new, they probably waiting on the tables to arrive, who knows! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I will be honest with you this has been on my list for a little bit since I started my hot chicken kick and man am I glad I finally came! They did not disappoint at all! Danielle was so great and friendly the entire time!!! Food was so fresh and so flavorful! I got the medium tenders which were hot both temperature and spice and they were huge!! The Mac and cheese was amazing and the fried green beans were fresh and hot and flavorful and not mushy at all! I got myself a Celsius which was a plus too! I will most definitely be back and have half the meal left over for a second meal! As of now they are take out only but she did say they are going to be fine in by the end of June which would be great! This is going to be the place that breaks my only try it once rule because I need to try ever

I just tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken for the first time (ordered a single hot chicken sandwich via DoorDash with ranch on the side), and wow… I’m still recovering from the absolute flavor explosion I just experienced. I ordered mine medium, and it had the perfect amount of spice — enough to make my taste buds dance but not overpowering. The chicken itself? Tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw added just the right touch of sweetness, the crisp pickle was the perfect contrast, and the buttered brioche bun was soft yet held everything together like a champ. Even with delivery, nothing was soggy or wilted, it arrived in perfect shape. Oh, and the fact that it’s halal chicken just makes it even better.
