All the food came out piping hot, so you know it's fresh. You may need to wait just a bit longer than normal, but it's worth it. The food tastes okay. Simple comfort food. Clay pots are $18-19 each
Today we went to a Guangzhou restaurant inside Cupertino Plaza – Bao Zai Zheng! My mom ordered the Claypot Rice with Mushrooms and Chicken, Paul had the Claypot Rice with Beef and Egg, and I chose the Claypot Rice with Chinese Sausage. It really reminded me of the taste of claypot rice I used to have in Hong Kong when I was a kid. Normally, my mom eats very little for dinner – usually half and then takes the rest home. But today, she finished everything! She said, “This is truly the taste of Hong Kong on the tip of my tongue.” I can’t believe I was so focused on eating my own dish that I didn’t even take photos of my mom’s and my husband’s claypot! Is that really me? Their Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings and Sizzling Cauliflower Claypot were also excellent. We also had the sugarcane, impe
The hot pot here is really good, with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of options to choose from. The flavors are rich and satisfying, and everything tastes very fresh. On top of that, the price is quite affordable, making it a great spot for both casual meals and gatherings with friends or family. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend others to come and give it a try—you won’t be disappointed.
Stumble upon this traditional Cantonese clay pot rice, and we couldn’t be more delighted. Service was quick, clay pot rice was divine and to top it off they have a traditional herbal drink instead of other unhealthy options. The rice crisp from the clay pot with some of their soy sauce, absolute to die for. While I enjoy my meal, they have dim sum options for my kiddos while we wait for the rice to cool for them. Also highly recommend their pig ears appetizer, a bit spicy but so addicting.
This is a Cantonese clay pot. I am not Cantonese so I cannot tell whether it is delicious or not, but I personally think it is good. Especially the sausage and bacon one ! The rice will have crispy crust at the end, and the portion is not big, but just right for girls.
