C C's Smokehouse Restaurant

By far some of the best BBQ I have ever had. I'm from Houston so BBQ is everywhere but this little place in Nacogdoches was definitely one of my favorites of all time. The ribs were awesome and had a lot of meat on them. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the area or driving through.

So I walked into this place and I didn’t know how to order or whether I should seat myself or not. I waited for a employee to pass me by and asked her what I do. She pointed me to the big yellow hanging menu. I walked over and ordered a Ranch hand 8 ounce sirloin and green beans and that’s where you tip and pay as well. I hate to pre-tip before even receiving service or food It drives me nuts! When I receive my food, the steak was not medium rare as I ordered it. It was medium well at best. The main flavor of the steak was A1 steak sauce. I don’t know if they use A1 steak sauce, but that’s what it tasted like to me not good very lean very little fat whatsoever. The green beans tasted like canned green beans with some bacon thrown in them and the primary flavor of the green beans was salt I

Very amenable place. I would say that the pork was a little dry but nothing that cannot be fixed. Also I would say that the amount per plate is very generous so that is an extra point. Good to eat with the family.

I don’t come here often but when I do I’m always so glad I do. Food is always extremely delicious and service is always friendly. Best burgers ever honestly, so juicy and HUGE as well, love love it!

❌👎🏼. I’m a Texan thru-n-true and this by far ranks second in top 3 for the worst bbq places I’ve eaten. No flavor whatsoever!! Sausage was overcooked and ended up having hard ends that I could bang on the table. Chicken portion was very generous but I had to dip it in their flavorless sauce just to swallow it! Brisket was the only meat that wasn’t dried out but had no flavor. Adding salt and pepper didn’t help. My sides included potato salad and corn fritters. Those were the only things I can’t complain about. (I ended up sharing out my plate so I could get different opinions. They didn’t approve either) Kids had cheeseburgers and chicken strips. Burgers were burnt all around the ends but kids ended up liking it. Chicken strips were cooked perfectly but again lacked flavor.
