Customer Reviews
This was our second visit, and once again we were thoroughly impressed! The food quality here is excellent. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich special, and my girlfriend had the smash burger inspired by a Big Mac — both were outstanding. The fries are also top-notch. This place consistently delivers great meals and service, and we plan to keep coming back regularly! A quick note for anyone driving a truck: I’d recommend avoiding the parking lot. While the lot itself is fine, the alley leading to it is quite narrow and can make maneuvering difficult. Street parking is a safer option.
This place will 100% scratch the itch for a good burger! The BBQ Bacon Burger is outstanding and the fries were crispy and delicious. You can tell that everything is fresh.
Fantastic small local owned place to get a bite to eat. They serve local beer and soda . They have good sandwiches and other plates. You can also get fresh cut aged meats to go. Street parking or there is a lot in the back. There is additional seating upstairs along with a play kitchen for kids (pictured) and a little lookout over the kitchen.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch today while in the area. It was our first time here. We came through the back door and tried to order right there at the counter. The woman told us to order up front. We did have to wait in line to order. My boyfriend ordered the sweet heat burger. He said it was well prepared and had great flavor. I ordered the smash burger which was delicious! It was the perfect amount of food, and proces are decent. There was alot of seating. We will definitely be back.
We went here for the Restaurant Week special, the Bratwurst burger. It was my first time here and was very excited to try their food as they seem to get amazing reviews online. Now the only thing I tried there was this burger and I'm not sure if it was a regular menu item. It was a good sandwich and the burger itself was very good. There was a heaping pile of sauerkraut on it, along with other condiments. I really enjoyed it, my daughter seemed meh on it and my wife didn't care for it as she doesn't like sauerkraut. We will have to go back to give a more fair and accurate review. Based on this sandwich, I enjoyed Calabar and would happily return. On a side note, it seemed very kid friendly to me. There were several families with kids and there was a small kitchen kids play area upstai
