Customer Reviews
Cabezon is such a great neighborhood gem. Cozy bistro atmosphere. Delicious food. Great wine and cocktail list. Friendly service staff. We've been many times and just had dinner there the other night for my birthday. Great table by the window. Appetizers - chicken liver pate plate, the special which was a salt cod and potato spread, and a winter greens salad. Dinner - lamb special, cioppino, and the black drum fish. All were delicious. Dessert - creme brulee and chocolate pot due creme. Devine. Highly reccomend this place. And make a reservation if you want a table. But there were plenty of seats at the bar where you can also order off the menu as well.
We had such a wonderful dinner at Cabezon. The service is very friendly and top notch. They care that you have a great dinner. Their menu changes daily depending on what fresh produce, fish and meat is available to them. The chefs butcher whole fish on site, so you are guaranteed top quality and freshness. My wife and I shared delightful prawns wrapped in basil and phyllo, on top of pan cooked rice noodles with thin cut veggies and sambal sauce, as an appetizer. It was a bit mind-blowing!! Just such an explosion of flavors and textures. Highly recommended! I got their signature Cioppino seafood bowl. The calamari in it was perfectly tender. The prawns were big and juicy. Clams were tasty. The snow crab claw was perfectly salted and delicious. And the fish (cod?) was cooked ju
This wasn't just a restaurant. It was an experience. My girlfriend and I love visiting Portland and looking for an amazing culinary experience. Cabezon did not disappoint. Their freshly sourced ingredients were apparent in the dishes. The unique and limited menus are printed daily based on the featured ingredients they get for the day or season. Great attention to detail with the presentation. There's nothing better than eating food that looks just as delicious as it tastes. Can't wait to visit Cabezon again during our next trip to PDX. What a treasure!
We had an amazing time at Cabezon! The waiter was really friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, we really enjoyed dessert. And the menu changing daily is a great plus, since they focus on what food is best according to the season.
Cabezon is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland! Their specialty is seafood, but I also often order non seafood options like the ones in the photo. They have a great pork chop whenever on the menu. They also cook lamb to perfection. Andy, our server was very good and took care of our table. You cannot go wrong dining here.
