Caddy's Treasure Island

We recently visited Caddy's Treasure Island. The location itself is hard to beat—right on the beach with a beautiful setting and a laid-back atmosphere. You can tell it has all the makings of a great spot. They’re also clearly still recovering from hurricane damage and operating out of a food truck and tent, which is understandable and not something I’d hold against them. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the setting. The menu was already limited due to their temporary setup, and right before ordering we were told they were out of burgers, which eliminates a big portion of the menu. The shrimp tacos were just okay, and the mahi was dry and tough. The quesadilla was especially disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. Drinks were another letdown. We were told they were

First time there with daughter for her bday weekend. Food was delicious. Had a virgin strawberry 🍓 daiquiri and daughter had a virgin pinacolada. So yummy. Waitress was helpful, on top of things and friendly. October 2025

I wanted to like this place, but the visit was a letdown. We sat for a while before realizing we had to order at the counter—no one said anything, and the servers seemed to be avoiding eye contact. When we ordered, the screen flipped around with preset high tip amounts, which felt pushy considering we’d had zero service at that point. We waited nearly 45 minutes with no update, and when we checked in, we were told they “couldn’t find us,” even though we were seated right next to the bar. There were multiple bartenders but no sense of order or anyone in charge. The food that finally came out was clearly old, and instead of making a fresh meal they just re-fried it. Always went there for cocktails and a bite to eat. They for years had free motorcycle parking so that is what drew me there. Went there 4 times in the last month with no problem and then last Friday I went and ended up with a $30 parking ticket for parking where I always have. They better correct that or I and lots of others won't be back. Food and staff are great though.

Sara helped us out at the bar today and provided excellent service! She told us about the rewards program and helped me get signed up. Can’t wait to visit again soon!
